1. Screening material-material shape/moisture content
In actual production, most of the screening materials are cylindrical materials or irregular particles. Although the rotary vibrating screen can clean the screen and solve the problem of network blockage, it belongs to some materials with irregular shapes and water content. Large, the screen will still be blocked during the screening process, which will affect the screening efficiency.
Solution: ① When the humidity of the material is high, the method of increasing the sieve hole can generally be adopted, or the wet screening can be adopted. ②Materials with large water content (when the water content is greater than 8%) should be wet screened or cleaned in advance. ③If the previous two methods are not feasible, you can choose to install an ultrasonic transducer on the rotating vibrating screen, that is, selecting an ultrasonic vibrating screen for screening.
2. Screen specifications-screen area, inclination and screen hole shape
The larger the effective area of the screen surface, the more area the screen pores occupies, the easier it is for materials to pass through the sieve holes, and the higher the screening efficiency.
If the installation inclination angle of the rotary vibrating screen is too small, it will cause materials to accumulate on the screen surface, which is also not conducive to screening. Improper selection of sieve holes will also result in low screening efficiency of the rotary vibrating screen.
Solution: The installation angle of the rotary vibrating screen should be adjusted at any time according to the requirements for the quality of the screening product. The shape of the sieve hole of the rotary vibrating screen should be selected according to the particle size of the material and the requirements for the use of the product under the screen. Generally, for cylindrical particles, rectangular sieve holes have better passing performance; for irregular particles with little difference in size in all directions, round holes have better passing performance.
3. Improper manual operation: uneven feeding-to ensure the normal work of the screen surface
Solution: The rotary vibrating screen should be fed evenly and continuously, and the material should be spread into a suitable uniform thickness along the entire width of the screen surface, which not only makes full use of the screen surface, but also facilitates the passage of fine particles through the screen holes, so it can ensure a higher Productivity and screening efficiency.
